Who is Zig and why does he have a woodshed?

Ziggy is my 14 year old Jack-a-bee (Jack Russell / Beagle mix). He currently serves as the Chief Cuteness Officer for Zig's Woodshed.

When going into business in 2020, all the "catch phrases" for woodworking were taken as business names. It was important that all our social media handles were also available to match our business name so customers could easily find us on any platform. After much pondering, inspiration struck and we thought it was unlikely Zig's Woodshed was taken as a business name. We were right! And Zig's Woodshed was born.

What types of services do you offer?

We offer a range of services, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Our expertise spans handmade woodworking, where we meticulously create custom furniture, decor, and accessories tailored to your vision. Additionally, we specialize in precision laser engraving, adding personalized touches to wood, acrylic, and leather items for gifts, signage, and promotional materials. With our CNC capabilities, we can handle complex projects with accuracy, from detailed carvings to custom signage. Whether you're seeking unique handcrafted pieces or precision-engineered designs, we bring craftsmanship and innovation together to fulfill your needs.

What types of materials do you use?

We use a wide variety of materials. Everything from domestic and exotic hardwoods to composite materials to acrylic, leather, slate, marble, resin, and powder coated steel. We really enjoy mixing materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces.

What is your turnaround time on orders?

Turnaround time depends on the job. If it's an in stock item and does not require personalization, orders usually ship within 2 business days. For complex or large orders, lead time can be up to 6 weeks. We strive to complete all orders quickly. Contact us if you have a specific deadline you need to meet.

Where do you ship?

We ship within the contiguous United States.

How do you ship?

All of our products are shipped from Georgia via USPS or UPS.  Please allow up to 7 business days following shipping for your package to arrive.  

Do you have a retail shop I can visit?

At this time, we do not have a retail space. However, we do participate in local art markets throughout the year. Check out our Events page for more information. Don't forget - we are open 24/7 online at www.zigswoodshed.com.

What is your Return Policy?

All sales are final. However, if you experience any issues with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to take care of you. We appreciate your business!
